Nigerian Celebrities Respond to Arrest of Individuals Allegedly Conducting Same-Sex Wedding in Delta

Several Nigerian celebrities have shared their reactions regarding the apprehension of a group of young men associated with a same-sex wedding in Delta State.

In Asaba, the Delta police command took action on Tuesday by arresting more than 100 individuals who were allegedly connected to a same-sex wedding event that occurred within the state’s boundaries.

Following the arrests, law enforcement officials presented the suspects to the public, and reporters had the opportunity to interview some of them.

Prominent figures like Georgina Onuoha, Victoria Inyama, Uche Maduagwu, Chinedu Ikedieze, known as Aki, and Mr. Funny, utilized their social media platforms to express their perspectives on the situation.

Georgina Onuoha wrote, “Leave these people alone. They did not kill, steal or harm anyone.

They are not the cause of Nigeria’s demise and predicaments. Let them live their lives.

“You that are busy committing fraud, sleeping around with married men and women, lying etc You are no better than these folks living their lives. Until many of you work in the medical field and understand the mechanisms behind sexual orientation, you will continue to live by the preachings of hate many con artist who call themselves pastors have poured into you as preachings.”

Uche Maduagwu wrote, “This is so unfair.”Chinedu Ikedieze wrote, “Na wa oh, wetin dis economy dey cause”

Victoria Inyama wrote, “Parade the poor ones whilst idolising the rich ones. Make it make sense.”

Mr. Funny wrote, “the devil is a liar.”
