Robert Calenda, Victor Osimhen’s agent, remains silent regarding specific details about the release clause incorporated into the striker’s new contract.
Calenda, when questioned about the release clause in Osimhen’s contract extension with Napoli until June 2026, declined to disclose specific figures.
In a statement to Sky Sport, Calenda expressed satisfaction with the contract renewal, emphasizing the desire of both parties to continue their successful journey, highlighted by the Scudetto victory last season.
Regarding the release clause details, Calenda stated, “I would not go too far into the details. Let us leave room for what happened, and that is the renewal which both the player and club wanted. Let us leave the details to the paperwork.”
Amid Osimhen’s array of options for his future, fellow Super Eagles player Calvin Bassey offered advice on the striker’s potential move, suggesting that the Premier League would be a suitable fit for him. Bassey expressed the hope that Osimhen would join his team rather than playing against him in the future.
Bassey said, “The Prem would suit him. Hopefully, he comes at some point, but I’d rather have him on my team than against him!”
