Pastor Noah Abraham, the founder of Christ High Commission Church, Araromi-Ugbesi, in Omuo-Oke, Ekiti State, is allegedly accused of stealing and impregnating his choirmaster’s wife.
In an interview with reporters, the church’s choir master, Dare Ikuenayo, made the accusation and said that Abraham had said in the church that he had abducted his wife and that no one could stop him.
Ikuenayo claimed that when the cleric informed him that she has the gift of prophecy and that she ought to permit him to keep her, he deceitfully abducted the mother of his three children.
“One day, the pastor called and informed me that my wife had a gift of prophecy and that I should allow her to stay with him for a month and work for God, which I obliged to do,” Ikuenayo said. “I had joined the church in Kabba, Kogi State.”
All of a sudden, I realized that my wife was unwilling to even interact with me or see me. The preacher said in church that he had abducted my wife and that no one could take her from him while I was trying to raise my eyebrows. I made every effort, but it was ineffective, until he got her pregnant and took her into his home completely.
Working with the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NPTIP), Abraham’s arrest was made by Ekiti State Police Command agents for reportedly kidnapping over nine people, including minors.
