The Adamawa State Police Command has reported the arrest of several suspects linked to the beheading of a young lady in a hotel in Yola. Among those apprehended are three hotel employees identified as Jacob and Yifarta, receptionists, and Isah, a security guard, who were on duty at the time of the incident. The force disclosed the recovery of the deceased’s handset and the drug used in sedating her at the crime scene.
The main suspect allegedly took the victim to the hotel on January 18, 2024, around 9:30 pm, where he beheaded her and fled with her severed head. While confirming the arrests, the force assured the public of the Commissioner of Police’s commitment to apprehending the perpetrator of the heinous crime. As investigations continue, two individuals believed to be involved in the murder have also been captured, though their identities are yet to be disclosed by the police.
