In an ongoing clearance operation conducted by the 1 Division Nigerian Army, a significant breakthrough has been achieved in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State. As reported by Gatekeepers News, the operation led to a confrontation with bandits and criminal elements, resulting in the elimination of 3 bandits and the confiscation of various weapons and assets.
The well-coordinated and meticulously executed operation yielded impressive results, with troops seizing one AK-47 rifle, as well as two locally crafted AK-47 rifles. Furthermore, a substantial haul of seven AK-47 magazines, eight motorcycles, three homemade magazines, and six mobile phones were captured.
The Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations for 1 Division Nigerian Army, Musa Yahaya, released a statement confirming these achievements. The operation was commended by Major General BA Alabi, the General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army and Force Commander of Operation Whirl Findwhosabi . He expressed his satisfaction with the troops’ successes and urged them to maintain their high energy and determination in eradicating all criminal elements.
