TolaniBaj, a former participant of Big Brother Naija and a DJ, shared insights into how her life has been shaped by her parents’ divorce. According to her, the separation influenced her career path, and she believes that if her parents were still together, she would have pursued higher education and taken on a civil service role.
She expressed that her father, not being a fan of the entertainment industry, would have discouraged her from participating in a reality TV show. TolaniBaj discussed these aspects of her life on the latest episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, a platform she co-hosts with actress Moet Abebe. In her words:
“If my parents were together, I don’t think I would be a celebrity. Because my dad was so anti-entertainment. I would just do master’s, Ph.D. My dad would even look for a job in the government for me. There’s nothing he would not do for me.”
