Atiku Slams Tinubu Over Hardship, Insecurity After Three Years In Office

Atiku Abubakar has criticised the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying Nigerians are facing worsening hardship, insecurity and poverty after three years in office.

In a statement released by his media aide, Phrank Shaibu, Atiku said the Tinubu administration promised renewed hope but instead delivered economic hardship and hopelessness.

The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress said rising food prices, inflation, unemployment and naira depreciation have made life difficult for millions of Nigerians.

Atiku also questioned the government’s borrowing record, alleging that large sums borrowed by the Federal Government have not translated into meaningful development for citizens.

He further criticised the security situation in the country, referencing recent kidnappings in Borno and Oyo states as evidence that many communities remain unsafe.

According to him, propaganda cannot hide the daily struggles faced by ordinary Nigerians, adding that the true test of governance is the welfare and security of the people.

The former vice president urged Nigerians to use the ballot box to demand change in future elections and promised that the ADC would soon unveil policy plans focused on economic recovery, job creation, security reforms and institutional development.
