Adenuga Responds to Papa Ajasco Dispute

Nigerian film producer Wale Adenuga has addressed recent claims made by actor Abiodun Ayoyinka, popularly known for his role in Papa Ajasco. Ayoyinka had earlier raised concerns about financial struggles and restrictions tied to the use of the character, sparking widespread reactions online.

In response, Adenuga dismissed the claims as misleading, stating that there has been no major conflict between them. He explained that while actors are free to take on other jobs, they must seek approval before using the Papa Ajasco brand due to copyright protection. He also highlighted Ayoyinka’s long career in civil service and acting, noting that he had benefited from several opportunities over the years.

Adenuga further emphasized that other cast members continue to work independently outside the show, which is produced for only a few weeks annually. He reaffirmed the commitment of Wale Adenuga Productions to fair treatment of its artistes, maintaining that allegations of neglect or exploitation are false.
