Arsenal Shine as Chelsea Set Unwanted Record

Arsenal F.C. delivered a strong performance with a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen at the Emirates Stadium, securing a place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. The result followed a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Germany. The Gunners impressed with 12 shots on target, their highest in a single match this season, and also marked only their second time scoring twice from outside the box in a knockout tie.

In contrast, Chelsea F.C. suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge, after already losing 5-2 in the first leg. The result ended their Champions League campaign in disappointing fashion.

The loss means Chelsea conceded a total of eight goals across the two-legged tie, setting an unwanted record as the highest number of goals they have ever allowed in a competitive home-and-away fixture.
