According to reports, a girl who has not yet been named died after being forced out of a moving commercial tricycle, or “keke,” by gunmen.
It was discovered that the gunmen allegedly took her personal belongings inside the keke before violently pushing her outside.
She suffered severe injuries when her head struck the paved road.
On Saturday, the event happened near the harbor market on Udu Road in Delta State’s Udu Local Government Area.
The good Samaritan who had picked her up was forced to take her back to the location where he had picked her up since the hospitals she was hurried to required a doctor’s report.
SP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for Delta State Police, did not answer calls or reply to a message sent to him on WhatsApp requesting remarks regarding the event.
