Born on December 29, 1998, in Lagos, Osimhen returned to his hometown to commemorate the occasion with fans at Olusosun in the Ketu area of the state.
The Napoli forward has experienced a remarkable December, starting with his historic recognition as the Italian Footballer’s Association Player of The Year on December 4. Subsequently, on December 11, he clinched the prestigious African Player of The Year award.
Osimhen continued to shine on the pitch, scoring his first Champions League goal of the season against Braga on December 12. Notably, he secured a new two-year contract extension at Napoli worth €10 million per season after tax during the same month.
